Trixie 2 yrs old Heeler/Chihuahua approx 20 lbs Trixie just came to us March 30. She had a tumor on her foot that was cancerous. The vet said we needed to remove it asap so April 3rd she went in for surgery. While there a tumor was discovered on her mammary and that was removed. Her lymph nodes were also noted to be swollen. Today we heard the preliminary results of the biopsies and our hearts are broken. Trixie doesn't have long to live. It could be a few weeks or a few months. Right now she seems healthy. You wouldn't know she has this monster inside destroying her. We are praying that a very special person will give Trixie a home to live out her remaining days. We want her to have the time of her life for however long she has left. We want to see her spoiled and loved. We want her to have the attention she deserves. We will not be charging a fee for Trixie. We will be ask that her adopter take a lot of pics for us and tell us how she is. We want to hear about her days and the special things she is doing, whether it be enjoying a walk, or a burger, or laying in the sun. She would do ok with an older dog or a very quiet laid back dog.
