CoCo is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She is also one of the most headstrong dogs you will ever meet. She will need a strong personality and a physically strong person to work with her.
For instance, she can walk beautifully on leash, unless she decides it's time to go faster, and then you either need to keep up or get your shoulder .
She knows the command get in your crate, but she will sometimes sulk and resist until you are extremely frustrated with her. She thinks that every other dog loves her just as much as she loves them and will pester them to prove it. lol Our senior dogs aren't thrilled with that, but our younger dogs eat it up.
In other words, she has a typical bully personality.
We have about 20 dogs of all sizes running around at certain times, some of the smaller ones aren't thrilled with her pushiness and they can get nippy with her, sometimes a few at a time. Gothika simply lowers her head and barrels on through them. She has never once attempted to retaliate in any way. She is the most even tempered dog you will ever find.
She can be a couch potato at times as all bullies can be, but she loves getting out for walks and playing. She seems to have endless energy then.
She loves every person she meets and greets them enthusiastically. She loves kids, and she loves cats and is much calmer when greeting them.
She loves being a lap buddy when allowed. When she is crated she is quiet and well behaved. However the only reason she gets crated here is because we have so many dogs.
She seems to know sit and lay, but again, it is on her terms.
She has never had an accident inside, not even on her first day here. Which is simply amazing.
