Ember
8 months old
House trained, basic obedience trained, crate trained. Ember likes other dogs and likes playing with them, however she doesn't like to share her toys or food with them. For that reason she would do best as an only dog. She can go for walks with other dogs and plays well with them in a doggy park situation.
Adoption fee 150.00 - spayed, utd on shots, microchipped.

Ember's story:
Ember is a 6 month old pittie mix. This poor little girl has been through a lot in her short life.A woman was out walking her husky when she saw two young men tying the puppy to a post.When she inquired they stated they had just rescued the puppy from the creek bed and were tying her there for the owner to find.However, the creek is a sulfur creek and not only was the puppy not wet, she did not have red sulfur dirt on her feet.  She did have a mark on her rear leg that looked like it was a few days old and she couldn't bear weight on that leg.
Of course no one claimed her when we searched for an owner.
So we named her Ember and took her for surgery on her leg. The femur was severely broken and had several pieces of bone that needed to be fit together like a puzzle. She had plates and pins inserted.Once healed the pins were removed and she was spayed. She then went for training at FIDOS and is now ready for her forever home.
