Flint came to us after living in the woods for a period of at least one year. He had to be trapped in a live trap because he was so fearful.
He was on death's door when he was finally captured. We didn't hold out much hope but we had to give him a chance at the life he deserved. After months of vet care and rehabilitation he is now ready for his forever home.
Flint has a chronic skin issue like a lot of Basset hounds do. It is yeast and can be controlled when treated regularly.  Flint is also on a special food due to allergies.
He is the best boy and would make an amazing companion. He likes short walks and relaxing on his blankets. He is crate and house trained. He does well with most other dogs. We prefer older kids (13 and up).
Flint has suffered through so much but he has a great personality and you will be head over heels the moment you meet him.
