 Ginny is a 7 yr old Dachshund. She is house trained and loves rolling in the grass. Ginny is a very sweet girl but a typical doxie in that she can be a bratty girl. She is also a typical doxie because she is absolutely adoring of her people.
Ginny loves other dogs.
Ginny has recently been diagnosed with sun downer's syndrome. This is condition that affects dogs (and people) from sundown to sun up. Symptoms can range from dementia, forgetting commands, bumping into things and for Ginny, it causes aggression. For this reason Ginny would do best with a single person who understands that from sundown to sunup she should be crated in a quiet room and left alone. This condition will not improve but there are medications that MAY help turn down the effects.
Ginny is an amazing, wonderful, sweet dog during the day time hours and she deserves a chance to know a loving home who can work with her issues.
