All adopters are required to meet at our rescue center in Mt Carmel, PA (no exceptions).

Kelly  has had a rough start in life. She has had 5 homes already.
The last home she had lasted only 2 days. On the third day, Kelly got loose. She was then on the run for 30 days. She was seen here and there but no one could catch her.
Thankfully after 30 days and 20 miles from where she escaped, she went into someone's yard and was captured. She was then brought to us because the person who had owned her for those 2 days didn't want her back.
Kelly has been very sweet while here with us and is house broken. She knows the sit command and loves people. We aren't sure why she has been through so many homes or why she ran for a month.

-Needs an active owner, she loves long walks and running.

-High fenced in yard (she can jump)!

-She is very dog selective, would probably do best as the only pet.

-Does not like when dogs in her face (AT ALL). She tolerates being around other dogs but not when they approach her.

-Her recall is great.

-Unsure of how she would do with children.

-She needs someone who is patient. She just needs a little time to warm up, she really does love people.

-Takes treats gently.

-She LOVES belly rubs!
