All adopters are required to meet at our rescue center in Mt Carmel, PA (no exceptions).

 

Diesel was one of 15 puppies born on a farm. Only 6 puppies made it off the farm alive. The farmer was ready to shoot them when a neighbor heard about it. She rushed over and grabbed the pups that were still alive.She then called us and asked if we could take them in. Diesel is a typical puppy with people and other pups, unless there is food present. He is food aggressive and this will need to be worked on. Diesel and his siblings were living on a farm where they were seldom fed, so these pups fed on carcasses and whatever else they could find laying around. His food aggression is the result of never having enough to eat. We feel that with some time and patience, he will overcome this food aggression.
