All adopters are required to meet at our rescue center in Mt Carmel, PA (no exceptions).

Ronnie & Annie were padlocked in a crate and tossed off the back of a truck into the strippin pits, where dynamiting was taking place. But prior to being tortured in this way, they were starved.  These poor girls, just around 8 months old, were neglected and abused.
It is only a miracle and an angel that saved them.
It appears that as the cage was tossed, it bent enough so that one of the dogs eventually wriggled free and ran. A woman named Annie happened across her and coaxed her into the car.  Annie and her companion were then driving home, but something made them turn around and go back to the area where the dog was and look around. It was then that they found the other dog, still stuck in the cage.
There wasn't even a tray in the cage, just metal bars.

Annie Hornberger then called me and I in turn called Ronda. Ronda met with Annie and the local news station  and then brought the dogs to Mommy & me Rescue.

The dogs were  named after their angels, Annie & Ronnie.  

Annie & Ronnie have had a tough time of it. Loaded with internal parasites and malnourished, but through it all they have been happy and loving. They are quiet and playful, they love to give kisses. Ronnie & Annie love each other, they love chasing each other, playing tug-o-war, and playing with the hose. They think water is awesome fun!

The girls are house broken and crate trained.
We are not yet sure how well they do with other dogs as we've been very careful to not stress them out too much. They do seem like they like other dogs, but don't like them to bother with them when crated.

They love kids and everyone they meet.

They will come with shots UTD and spayed. The adoption fee is 200.00 for the pair.

We would love to see them go to a home together after all they've been through together. They really do love each other.
